Come to the woodlands for an overnight experience like no other on a short stay residential at Cuffley Active Learning Centre packed with activities! Our 2 day trips are the perfect opportunity to give your students an unforgettable experience while getting stuck into outdoor activities and challenges. Whether you want to escape the city or just try something new and exciting with your students, come to the woodlands for an adventure. You’ll get involved in activities such as:
- Low ropes
- High ropes
- Zipwire
- Climbing wall
- Target sports
- Evening games
- And more!
ACCOMMODATION
Each of our two pod villages can sleep up to 48 students and 4 staff. Each also has a central open yurt for cosy fireside evenings and a dedicated toilet and shower block for group privacy. Students share comfortable and spacious 4 bed pods, while teachers share twin bed pods with a few extra home comforts.
Our woodland campsites vary in sizes so we can accommodate your group on their own private camp. Spread around a central yurt, with open fire constantly ablaze, these camps allow full immersion into the woodland setting and a magical camping experience for all ages. Each camp is equipped with a suite of toilets and nearby shower blocks.
WHERE IS IT?
Situated convenietly for London, Cuffley is just 10 minutes from Potters Bar, Hertforshire, and is close to the M25 for easy coach access. Cuffley is also accessible by train (we can provide transport to site). The 96- acre woodland site is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and contains a wonderful range of flora and fauna.
