ALC isn’t your average activity provider, we create itineraries tailored to your groups needs and objectives. So whether you’d like to bring your students on a Multi-Activity, geography or art trip we will work with you to ensure your stay with us meets your desired outcomes.

Additional activities
Looking to add in some activities on top of your outdoor adventures? As Cuffley is situated in Hertfordshire just outside London it is easy for groups to head into the city for a day to explore the best of what the capital has to offer.
If you want to stick to the outdoors, the Lee Valley Regional Park is only a short distance from Cuffley and offers a tranquil environment that complements the woodlands at Cuffley.
As well as being a haven for outdoor activities, Pembrokeshire has a rich cultural heritage and has a lot of places to explore. Whether your group heads out for a few hours or a whole day, there is plenty for them to do.
From castle tours and visits to world famous beaches to making your way around the UK’s smallest city of St David, there is a lot to discover in the local area.
Enhance your stay at The Towers by taking the opportunity to visit some local wonders. Whether it’s Portmeirion, RSPB South Stack or Llandudno and pier, or taking a tour around Puffin Island, there are some hidden gems to find.
Activity leaders that stay with you the whole trip
To deliver a seamless and entertaining trip for your students the same activity leader will stay with you for the duration of your stay.
Our skilled team of staff and activity leaders will help students to recognize and applaud their own and others’ achievements, thus fostering friendships and developing supportive networks.
Flexible planning
We offer flexible transport options to help get groups to us. We’ll work with your school to find the best option and how we can support in getting you here.
At our centres in Wales, our activity leaders monitor the weather and conditions on a daily basis and discuss with teachers to shape the days’ activities to accommodate any fluctuations. This ensures that students get to make the most of the activities they do and allows for a schedule that maximises the time spent getting adventurous experiences.
Length of stay
We deliver trips of different lengths to suit the needs of your group. Whether you’re coming for a short trip to get a taste of adventure or staying for a few nights for an action-packed experience, we will accommodate based on your requirements.
1 day trips – At Cuffley, groups can join us for a day in the woodlands and take part in a range of exciting outdoor activities.
2 day trips – This trip gives students the unique experience of an overnight stay on top of all the adventurous activities they’ll take part in.
3 day trips – For those looking to stay a bit longer and get stuck into even more outdoor challenges and games.
5 day trips – Perfect for groups to become immersed in the outdoors, packed full of activities, challenges and new experiences.
