Cuffley Open Day Terms & Conditions 

1. Organiser

The Open Day is organised by Cuffley Active Learning Centre, part of Active Learning Group, and is designed to give teachers, education professionals, and parents an insight into our educational trips and summer camps available across Active Learning Centre, The Bushcraft Company, Camp Wilderness and SuperCamps.

2. Attendance

• The Open Day will take place on 24th July 2026 at Cuffley Active Learning Centre, Cuffley, Potters Bar, EN6 4PR.
• Event times: 10:00 – 15:00.
• The Open Day is open to UK-based teachers, parents, group leaders, and education professionals.
• Attendance must be confirmed before 22nd July 2026 via Eventbrite: Cuffley Open Day Tickets, Friday 24 July • 10 AM – 3 PM | Eventbrite
• A completed health and safety waiver must be submitted prior to the event via Eventbrite as part of the ticket booking process.
• On arrival, attendees will be signed in by a member of the Active Learning Centre team.
• Please ensure there is a maximum ratio of 4 children to 1 adult.
• Due to limited capacity, large groups or full school groups are not permitted.
• Child tickets are £10 each and subject to Eventbrite’s transaction fees and there are a limited number of tickets available

3. What to Expect

• All centre activities are available for participants aged 7+ (with the exception of Tomahawks being 9+), SuperCamps activities are suitable for children aged 4+.
• The ALC team will be available throughout the event to answer questions and discuss programme options.

4. General Terms

• Cuffley Active Learning Centre reserves the right to amend or update Open Day details if required.
• By attending this event, you consent to you and any children or guests in your group being photographed. Images captured may be used for promotional and marketing purposes, unless you inform us at the Welcome/Registration desk on the day that you do not wish to be photographed and a lanyard will be provided to be worn throughout your time onsite.
• All children must be supervised by an adult throughout the event.
• All centre activities are available for participants aged 7+ (with the exception of Tomahawks being 9+), SuperCamps activities are suitable for children aged 4+.
• Any relevant medical or dietary information (e.g. for pizza-making or food-based activities) must be shared in advance via Eventbrite as part of the ticket booking process.
• Activities may be subject to change based on weather conditions, operational requirements, or safety considerations.
• Cuffley Active Learning Centre reserves the right to stop or pause bookings at any time.
• We have the right to evacuate the site if high winds occur.
• We reserve the right to ask any individual to leave the premises if their behaviour is rude, aggressive, or disruptive.
• During busy or peak periods, participants may be limited to one turn per activity to allow for everyone to have a fair opportunity to take part.

6. Data Protection

• Contact details collected during sign-in will only be used to administer attendance and send relevant follow-up information.
• Personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
